This participatory project transforming Exposed Arts Projects into a contemporary salon — a safe, inspirational space for women from the RBKC that nurtures intellectual and aesthetic experiences together with informal networking "while painting or planting herbs in the garden". Through discussions, collaborative design, and hands-on creation, participants will reimagine the gallery as a "dream club for a contemporary woman" — featuring a workshop area, library, kitchen garden, and a spiritual zone.
The renovated space will host future art projects.
On Tuesdays, 15-20:00
Sasha will be leading the painting side of things - where the walls will match the Laduree Pink on our website. The rooms will be then used for our cosier events like crafting projects, talks, and book and film clubs.
On Saturdays, 12-17:00
Camille will head up the gardening- where weeds will be replaced by herbs, edible flowers and all sorts of other gorgeous blooms. These will be used in cocktails and meals for our future events.
During these creative gatherings we will be also hosting discussions where we would love your feedback on what types of events you and your friends would be interested in attending.
The subjects we will discuss will include:
⸻
Reclaiming Leisure: How Do We Redefine Rest, Beauty, and Pleasure?
• What does restful creativity look like today? How can gardening or painting become a form of resistance and nourishment?
⸻
Rituals of Connection: Creating Sacred, Feminine, and Playful Gatherings
• Explore ideas for rituals or practices that could be woven into events — from tarot circles and herbal tea ceremonies to open mics and storytelling nights.
⸻
The Art of Living: Merging Aesthetics and Everyday Life
• What inspires your creativity, and how could a space like this help nurture it?
⸻
The Feminine Voice in the Arts and Culture Today
• Whose stories aren’t being told — and how can we amplify those voices?
⸻
From Community to Collective Magic: Building a Sisterhood That Sustains
What makes you feel held, seen, and energized in a group setting?
